Clean up your Desktop

Ok this is my big issue. I love to dump everything on the Desktop. I have so many icons i can’t see my awesome backgrounds. It’s a mess and I can’t track the files there.

Remove programs that you don’t use

So along the past year we install many programs and games and when you know there are some that you only used once. Remove them. More space for media and more organized, that’s the way.

Define folders for your downloads

At least my downloads are in a download folder. (Before I got a Mac my downloads where dump in the Desktop… sad, I know) But soon that folder went nuts. There are downloads from the browsers, files from JDownloader and torrents and is a real mess. The solution: Multiple folders for each type of downloads (one for the browsers).

Organize bookmarks

One year of bookmarks without tags or folder organized is a mess. I think is the worst place on my computer. Well remove those that you don’t need anymore or that are 404’s. Tag them, it’s a good practice.
